Alright Opponauts you challenge today is to build the fastest !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! car. Which if I’m not mistaken is the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . It should weigh around 2700lbs or thereabouts, and make around 650 horsepower and maybe 500lb-ft of torque. should be easy with modern direct injection. The most important thing will be keeping the weight down and meeting safety regulations. I still think this will be feasible though.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
It should have a top speed of over 386.4 km/h ( 240.1 mph ) and reach 0-60 around 2.9 0r so. 0-100 should be dealt with in around 6 seconds or so.
Have fun!
I would have won, but my car could only make it to 202 mph.. pathetic.

Stick a Ford Tempo on the Saturn V.

I would take an Alfa Romeo 4c, lengthen the tail Venom GT style, and place the 597 hp V8 out of the 458 Speciale into it. That should be enough to work with since weight, tuning, and gearing should handle the rest.

Replace the TT V6 in the XJ220 with the V12 that was originally intended.

Who needs finesse or a weight requirement when you have a RR 12025cc V12?

I won’t be able to post it until tomorrow night, but I’ve got a FR layout coupe with a 10.9 liter (maximum displacement for a V8) naturally aspirated 5 valve V8 with a top speed of, IIRC, 402 km/h.
It’s not light, but when you’ve got as much power as a Veyron...

idn’t even try to lightweight it, I mean, it’s even a steel monocoque. I did just tweak the gearing and aero, though, to max out the top speed.
Yes, I know, it’s blurry, but here, have a 255.0 MPH car. And it’s actually 10111 cc, IIRC I had to downsize it a touch to fit the race tubular headers.
